2nd Grade

Second grade is a year of challenging and fun-filled learning experiences that will enhance the total development of the child.  Students begin a deeper relationship with God as they prepare for their First Reconciliation and First Eucharist.  They attend and plan all-school liturgies, and are involved in school-wide service projects.  In addition to becoming more faithful disciples, second graders become stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians.  They learn about their community, map reading, economics, and how to be good citizens.  Students experience science and engineering with hands-on, project-based learning.  They work with specialists in art, music, physical education, Spanish and computers.
