Parenting is a rewarding journey, but it’s no secret that it’s also full of challenges. As our children grow, so do the demands of guiding them through an ever-evolving world. To support parents on this journey, St. Anne Catholic School is proud to launch a new initiative, The Parenting Playbook! This program aims to provide parents with practical strategies, faith-based guidance, and a space to connect with other parents navigating similar experiences.
Please register to our emailing list as an RSVP for the event. Events will also be posted on our FB page. The first session of The Parenting Playbook will tackle one of today’s most pressing parenting topics: Parenting in a Digital Age. Technology is woven into every aspect of our children’s lives — from schoolwork to social interactions — and it’s more important than ever for parents to be equipped with the tools to guide their children’s digital experiences. This session will offer practical insights on managing screen time, promoting online safety, and fostering healthy habits around technology use.
This session will be led by Jim Richardson, MA, LP, LSP, a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed School Psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with children, parents, and educators. Jim serves as the Director of Services at Psychological Resource Group in Woodbury, MN. He holds a master’s degree and 42 additional credits of specialized training in educational psychology from the University of Minnesota and the University of Wisconsin at River Falls. His professional journey includes working with at-risk youth at the Ramsey County Juvenile Detention Center and conducting assessments and intervention planning for children and adults with learning disorders and mental health conditions.
