PreKindergarten

St. Anne Catholic School Pre-K program makes the transition to full day Kindergarten much easier for the parent and the child. Concentrating not only on academics, but also on spiritual, social, and emotional growth helps to develop strong character. This helps to ensure a successful Kindergarten experience and promotes a love for school and learning.

Your child will finish his or her Pre-K year with the confidence of having mastered some of the basic expectations of Kindergarten including:
  • identify and write name
  • follow directions
  • complete projects
  • work independently
  • use listening and speaking skills
  • participate in activities
  • accept responsibility
  • learn school rules
  • respect self and others
  • treat others’ property with respect

Pre-K students also benefit from interactions with 7th and 8th grade “Spirit Partners” who visit and do various monthly activities. Pre-K students participate in physical education and music classes, as well as two school wide music programs annually.
